Edward King Bass IV (born July 14, 1998), professionally known as Edward Skeletrix, is an American experimental rapper, record producer, and visual artist born in Florida and based in Atlanta, Georgia, who’s best known for incorporating ominous AI artwork into his artistic visuals and his clothing brand syckli.

Edward began his endeavor into music in late 2013 as a producer under the alias “cight.” He was widely regarded as one of the most influential producers in the cloud rap SoundCloud scene, working with names such as Night Lovell and the late XXXTENTACION. Edward was a member of two producer groups—MIZUSTATION and 0% Boys. He also worked with noteworthy producers such as MISOGI, Lil Netzero, and Fifty Grand. He started his hiatus in 2015 and returned two years later under the aliases shieldLess and syckli—the name of his clothing brand—ultimately quitting again in 2018.

He began the Edward Skeletrix project around mid to late 2019, first aesthetically centered around the use of purposefully strange and disturbing AI imagery and videos with rage-inspired music—that later became snippets of Edwards' own music—in the background, which he posted on his now-deleted TikTok account. After slowly accumulating a fanbase, he transformed Edward Skeletrix into a rap project and released his debut single, “Skeletrix Magic,” on May 11, 2023. He would then release his debut album Skeletrix Language on December 1, 2023.

On December 31, 2024, Edward announced that he would release a double album for the new year. Museum Music (under the name of Edward Skeletrix) and Museum Music (under the name of “I’m A Monster”). Both would be released on New Years Day 2025.

On May 1, 2026, Edward would release his third studio album Body of Work, to which it contains features ranging from the likes of North West, Slime Dollaz, and the late XXXTENTACION, although his vocals were removed on the day of its release due to a takedown request from X’s estate.
